The challenge

Improve the buying process in the camper store, resolve any errors that were found in the previous user testing studies/expert analysis to ultimately improve the conversion of sales.

My role

I was the UX Designer and Product Owner on this project. I was responsible for the research, user’s flows, wireframes, functional specifications, the final UI Design and demo prototype. I also collaborated with the various development teams.

The research phase

We used “User Zoom” to conduct online user testing in 3 main countries (Spain, UK and the USA). This allowed us to detect errors and areas of improvement for the online Camper Store. We gathered expert reviews of the actual website. Based on the findings of both reports we defined a new navigation screen structure that allows users to search and buy the product they are looking for without any kind of interference.

The definition

After we had analysed out findings we had the task of making sure that each area of the website worked in synergy. We worked on the backend side of the website in order for the frontend to be displayed properly and give the user a pleasant web experience.


The final result

The website even today still reflects a number of solutions we implemented when we first undertook this project. The website now has a more user orientated feel too it offering a smooth experience.
